One Season, Four Chapters, Endless Possibilities!

The Story Begins…..

Step into the pages of the season at Werner Books & Coffee for a flower arranging series that celebrates the beauty of locally grown blooms from summer through fall.

Each chapter features a guided flower arranging experience using flowers harvested fresh from our gardens. Participants will create their own seasonal vase arrangement while learning and sharing simple design techniques in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Whether you're arranging flowers for the first time or have years of experience, you'll leave with a beautiful creation and a deeper appreciation for the changing gardens at Hopson Hill Flower Farm.

Each gathering includes:

  • Fresh-cut flowers harvested from our gardens

  • A vase to arrange in and take home

  • Guided instruction

  • A beverage and sweet treat from Werner Books & Coffee

  • All tools and supplies needed for the evening

Workshops are held from 6:00 PM–7:30 PM at Werner Books & Coffee, 3514 Liberty Street, Erie, PA.

Space is limited to ensure a comfortable, hands-on experience for all participants.

Chapter 1: Once Upon A Summer - Thursday July 23 6PM to 7:30PM

The story begins with the first great flush of summer flowers. Gather around the table and create a vase arrangement filled with the colors and excitement of a new season.

Every good story develops, and so do the gardens. As flower beds reach their peak, we'll work with some of the season's standout blooms to create an arrangement that reflects the heart of summer.

The pages begin to turn toward autumn as cooler nights approach. This chapter celebrates the beauty of the changing season with flowers and foliage gathered from the early fall garden.

Every anthology needs a memorable ending. Join us for a Halloween-inspired evening featuring seasonal blooms, autumn colors, and a few surprises as we bring the story of the season to a close.
