We are Chris and Melissa, the husband-and-wife team behind Hopson Hill Flower Farm, a small two-acre farm we share with our pooches Maggie and Cara and our ever-curious cat, Meow Meow. Between us, we bring decades of gardening experience and a deep love of the natural world. We’re happiest with our hands in the soil, experimenting with different varieties of plants, and watching bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife make themselves at home among the flowers.

Melissa is the one with the green thumb and a knack for knowing just what plants need, while Chris is the muscle—hauling, digging, building, and tackling the heavy work that keeps the farm moving. Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, from how we care for the soil to how we grow our flowers, always working with nature rather than against it.

Starting Hopson Hill Flower Farm in 2025 was the realization of a dream that had been growing for years. What began as a shared love of gardening has blossomed into a space where beauty, hard work, and care for the land come together. Our hope is simple: to bring joy to our community and share the quiet magic and beauty that nature offers, one bloom at a time.
