We grow our flowers right here on our farm, with a focus on working with nature rather than against it. We avoid pesticides, make space for pollinators and wildlife, and are continuing to improve the way we care for our soil, including working toward becoming a no-till farm.

We also grow some flowers and foliage you may not see everywhere else, and we’re always experimenting with something new. Beyond the flowers, we make many of our own crafts by hand and enjoy finding creative ways to share what we grow and make with our community.

For us, Hopson Hill is about more than selling flowers. It’s about growing responsibly, creating things we’re proud of, supporting other local businesses, and building something that reflects our love of nature and our community.

Yes. The flowers in our bouquets and arrangements are grown right here at Hopson Hill Flower Farm. We grow with the seasons, so what we offer changes throughout the year depending on what’s blooming.

On rare occasions, if we need something we don’t have enough of, we may purchase flowers from another local flower farmer. We don’t order flowers from wholesalers or bring in imported blooms just to fill a bouquet.

During the growing season, you can find our flowers at The Stand, at select local markets and events, and through our Petal Collective flower subscription.

We also occasionally have bouquets or other seasonal offerings available through some of our local business partners. Because everything depends on what’s blooming, availability and locations can change throughout the season.

Yes. Our Petal Collective is our seasonal flower subscription, with bouquets available for pickup at scheduled times throughout the growing season.

Each bouquet reflects what’s blooming here on the farm at that point in the season, so no two weeks are exactly the same. It’s a simple way to enjoy locally grown flowers on a regular basis while following along with the season as it changes.

We don’t use synthetic chemical pesticides on our farm. When pest problems come up, we rely on natural methods and treatments when necessary, while trying to have as little impact as possible on the bees, butterflies, birds, and other wildlife that share the farm with us.

Protecting the little ecosystem we have here is an important part of how we grow, so we try to work with nature rather than against it.

We do not do weddings at the moment, but depending on the season and schedule, we may offer bulk event flower buckets or custom arrangements. Contact us to discuss your needs.

Yes! We offer different events throughout the season, sometimes on our own and sometimes with other local businesses.

Our Blooming at the Bookstore series at Werner Books & Coffee is one example, where people can come spend an evening working with our flowers and making their own arrangement.

Our main flower season runs from late spring through fall, with what’s available changing as different flowers come in and out of bloom.

We’re also working toward extending our season by growing some flowers indoors and under cover, so over time we hope to have locally grown flowers available through at least part of the winter.

Of course, exact timing can vary from year to year depending on the weather.

At this time, the farm isn’t generally open for drop-in visits. We’re a working farm, and most days we’re busy planting, harvesting, making bouquets, or working on one project or another.

From time to time, we may open the farm for special events or other opportunities to visit. We’ll always share those details on our website and Facebook page when something is coming up.

We don’t offer regular flower delivery at this time. Most of our flowers are available for pickup through The Stand, our Petal Collective, local markets, events, or other arranged pickup options.

For some special orders, local delivery may be possible depending on the date, location, and what we have going on at the farm. Just reach out and ask.

Yes. Flowers are a big part of what we do, but they aren’t the only thing we offer.
